A year after the birth of their twin daughters, Tran was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008. The couple faced hard times and had to go through emotional distress. She had stage three negative breast cancer. Tran found a lump in her breast while biting the twins.
Tran’s cancer treatment included 16 chemotherapy sessions along with a mastectomy, followed by radiation therapy. She was cancer-free eventually in October 2010. Tran’s husband is very supportive of her. He supported his wife in her bad times, and take care of her every minute.
