His Dark Material is an amazing series by HBO. It’s a fantasy TV-series, based on a novel by same name.

Two Seasons of His Dark Material became quite popular with the audience and moderately liked by the Critics calling it a solid series but the creator played it soft to not hurt the religious sentiments cause the book was banned by the government.

Season 2 of this show had some pretty amazing plot and subplots. But the ending made people question their senses.

SEASON 2 ENDING EXPLAINED:

His Dark Materials season 2 finale had some great moments. Some major characters of this show were killed to cause a major conflict in season 3. They are moving beyond just a fight against the great Magisterium.

They also bring back a character who was not expected to return in this season. In the Post credit scene, we can see Lyra is in a bad state.  If you remember season 1, Lord Asriel killed Roger, but he made a comeback in the season 2 finale.

We can hear Roger calling out Lyra’s name and that is pretty bad for our Lyra. Lord Asriel also returned in the finale which made it even great. For Will Parry, he is going to take the knife to the Lord which was commanded by his Father and he will be shown his way by the Angels of Night which was said by his father before dying.

SEASON 3 RELEASE DATE:

According to BBC, There is going to be a third season for His Dark Material. The last December, The guardians were told by the writer of the show, Jack Thorne that he is rewriting the script and making his way to the final draft. It’s possible to get a release in the middle of 2022 If the shooting gets completed in the winters of this December.
