Microsoft has promised that the new gaming console, the Xbox Series X, will be the fastest and the most powerful console that the company has ever designed. The gaming console features several upgrades from the previous version of Xbox, that will re-define the gaming experience. The reports claim that there aren’t any Xbox Series X exclusive title, but after release few games like Halo Infinite could release exclusively on the platform.
Xbox Series X features the most powerful SSD that has ever created for the gaming console. Sony has also promised a similar powerful SSD for the upcoming PlayStation 5. These robust SSDs will reduce the loading time, and you can enjoy your games superfast. The Series X not only features near-instant load times but also has the ray-tracing capabilities.
Microsoft reportedly claimed that the Xbox Series X’s system would run 8K resolutions and 120 fps, for certain games. At the same time, most of the game will run at 4K resolutions and 60 frames per second, which is again amazingly impressive. The recent leaks suggest that the company is planning to launch this next-generation gaming console in November, this year.
Xbox Series X: Specifications
The company has provided the specification for new Xbox gaming consoles in February, earlier this year. The outstanding 3.8-GHz AMD Zen 2 powers the console, which also features 16GB GDDR6 RAM. Xbox Series X has the 8-core processor and 12 teraflops AMD RDNA 2 GPU. The console easily supports the 4K UHD Blu-ray discs.
The internal storage of the gaming console is 1TB custom NVMe SSD, and also supports external storage. The device can support USB 3.2 external HDD, allowing you to store unlimited number of your favourite games. If we compare the specifications of the upcoming two gaming consoles, then the Xbox Series X easily has better features than the PlayStation 5.
The biggest title for the Xbox Series X release was intended to be Halo Infinite, but it has been delayed by a year.
