On September 19, Dancing with the Stars moved to Disney+ and began broadcasting live worldwide. An elimination marked the end of the first episode.
First Elimination was Lewis and Murgatroyd
Two couples were left in the bottom two after the two-hour Season 31 premiere. Further, it is with Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and pro-Pasha Pashkov and Sex and the City veteran Jason Lewis and pro-Peta Murgatroyd.
And the elimination was for Lewis and Murgatroyd were the couples. Lewis remarked that everyone in the group was so supportive. His little time on the show and that it was fantastic.

Giudice and Lewis finished with their professionals at the bottom of the standings on September 19. But Vinny Guadagnino and professional Koko Iwasaki from Jersey Shore finished in the bottom position. However, the viewer text messages were kept and carried over to Elvis’s week the following week.

The show’s live debut, currently streaming, went off with hardly any problems. Also, at one point, host Tyra Banks announced the incorrect pair at the top of the leaderboard. Then she swiftly acknowledged inaccurate information.
Despite being streamed, Dancing With the Stars generally felt comfortable. Moreover, the night’s episodes moved quickly. The professional troupe would appear and perform renditions of the dances the celebrities had to execute in place of commercial breaks between competition dances.
The presenter of Let’s Make a Deal, Wayne Brady, emerged as the early leader of the evening. Thus after receiving a score of 29 out of 40 for his cha cha with professional partner Witney Carson.
Praise for Other Contestants
Bruno Tonioli, the judge, praised Brady and Carson when they blended some Michael Jackson dance movements with the cha-cha. Carrie Ann Inaba received praise for being fantastic, and Len Goodman praised their performance.
There was, however, more to come. Then Shangela, a former contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race. And Gleb Savchenko performed a feisty salsa that thrilled fourth judge Derek Hough.
Selma Blair, whom Selma Blair claimed to be her neighbor and who also had multiple sclerosis, joined her in the dance. Moreover, others in the ballroom, including contestant Jordin Sparks and professional Pasha Pashkov, were moved to tears by the couple’s Viennese waltz.
