Volume 17 of Beastars by Paru Itagaki follows the story of the grey wolf, Legoshi. In the 17th instalment of the manga series, Legoshi allies with the secret organisation of Kopi Luwak in order to search and defeat the mix-species psychopath Melon. However, their plan stimulates Legoshi’s desire for meat.

On the other hand, the rabbit Haru comes across Melon but she is unaware of the danger that he poses. Next, Legoshi’s insistence that their relationship remain pure makes Haru’s patience run out. Legoshi runs in to trouble with the law again.
