Sayonara Tyranno is a Japanese-Chinese-South Korean film. The film is directed by Kobun Shizuno at Tezuka Productions. It began publishing on Toei Animation. It is primarily based on Tatsuya Miyanishi‘s Tyrannosaurus collection of kids’ books.
Sayonara Tyranno: Storyline
This film features an exciting combination of Japanese, Chinese, and South Korean animation styles. It is inspired by children’s dinosaur-themed book, ‘Sayonara, Tyranno’ is a story about three dinosaurs on a journey searching for a place called ‘Heaven.’ Sayonara, Tyrano is a Japanese picture book series by Tatsuya Miyanishi, published by Poplar.
The series has animated film and anime adaptations. It sees the adventure and love story between a male tyrannosaurus that looks aggressive but does not make a kill and a female pteranodon.
The trailer starts with how the main characters Tyranno, Phnom, and Tops met each other. The story moves on to a more interesting tone as our trio begins to face more challenges along their path.
Cast and Characters
- Shinichiro Miki as Tyrano, a tyrannosaurus rex who is afraid of the dark.
- Kaori Ishihara as Punon, a pteranodon who cannot fly.
- Aoi Yuki as Tops, a triceratops who has been separated from their parents.
The other cast members include Katsuyuki Konishi, Kikuko Inoue, Toshiyuki Morikawa, Nobuyuki Hiyama, and Unshou Ishizuka.
