The most recent super hit movie by ‘Denis Villeneuve’ is beating and has smashed the box office collection, leaving behind its other competitors like Soho, Antlers, My Hero Academia and some other movies!!
Dune, directed by Denis Villeneuve, claimed the top place at the box office for the second weekend in a row. The 2021 film, hailed as redemption for David Lynch’s sick Dune adaption, describes the tale of Paul Atreides and his family’s battle for the prized spice that facilitates interplanetary travel on the desert planet Arrakis.
All about the movie ”Dune”:
‘Dune’ is the narrative of young Paul Atreides, whose family takes the stewardship of Arrakis, the universe’s most deadly planet. To ensure his family’s future, he must now journey to this planet in order to get a supply of the rare mineral that numerous groups are striving for.
Following a Harkonnen agent’s assassination attempt on Paul’s life, Leto orders his men to be on high alert. Arrakeen’s protection shields are disabled by Suk doctor Wellington Yueh, allowing Harkonnen and Sardaukar soldiers to crush the Atreides army. Yueh beats Leto out and tells him he made a deal with the Baron to deliver him in return for his wife’s release.
To recover the cost of the revolution, the Baron gives over the authority of Arrakis to his brutish nephew Rabban, who is ordered to sell spice stocks and begin production. Duncan and Kynes find Paul and Jessica and lead them to an abandoned research station, but Sardaukar quickly tracks them down.
Dune: Cast and Characters
When it comes to the part of Paul, Chalamet was an excellent choice. Chalamet has proven himself capable of playing a lonely nobleman in films such as “Call Me By Your Name” and “The King.”
Zendaya, however, will undoubtedly be memorable as Chani, Paul’s Fremen love interest, who will hopefully have a larger part (and more words) in this version than Lynch’s.
With Momoa, Brolin, Isaac, and others in the cast, “Dune” is shaping up to be a major awards challenger once the movie hits theatres.
Dune: Box Office Collection
The box office has entered a quiet before the impending attack that is the Christmas movie season, or, at the very least, next week’s Eternals opening, after a rather fantastic October with four weeks of $40 million+ of earning within the first two weeks of its launches!!
The third weekend of the Michael Myers sequel, which is just as easily available in cinemas, was overtaken by a pair of independent distractions that appeared to take advantage of the Halloween weekend.
However, there is a far higher sum at stake in determining whether Dune will reach $100 million. And, despite last week’s concerns, the fast response this week is… maybe. That might change if Eternals steals a significant portion of their business away next weekend, but for now, we can just hope for the best!!

Why you should watch the movie?
This book is regarded as a cult classic. Did we mention it spawned five sequels and was a huge success book in the 1970s? Everyone is also buzzing about the fantastic huge sandworm that was seen in the teaser. The cinematography is just stunning!
Also, the best part of the movie is that the Director described a new shield-based combat style. The way he described it, it sounds like it will be fascinating to watch on screen. As a result, it is well worth your time to watch!!
