About Rent a Girlfriend
Kazuya Kinoshita, a college student is desperate to find a girlfriend. His previous girlfriend dumped him for another man. He is looking for a girlfriend to heal his broken heart. Nowadays, various types of rental services are available in Japan. You can rent a parent, a friend, even a girlfriend. Kazuya uses an online dating app to rent Chizuru Mizuhara.
Chizuru seems to be cute and polite however, Kazuya thinks she is not authentic. He gives her a low rating on the app. When Chizuru scolds him for that, he understands she is more than just a pretty face. When Kazuya’s grandmother is hospitalized due to a collapse, he brings Chizuru to the hospital. His grandmother likes her. He continues renting Chizuru to keep up with his family pressure.
