It is rent a bicycle for an easy and affordable transport app. Founded in April 2011, it is owned by the municipalities of Boston, Cambridge, Everett, Somerville, and Brookline and operated by Motivate. Originally named as ‘Hubway’, it was renamed Bluebikes after the sponsorship deal with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts in 2018.

Bike Valets are also to be accessible near the Hynes Convention Centre and the Reggie Lewis Centre for convenience. More expansion on this facility to be done by increasing the number of bikes and docking area the accelerate the process and create the procedure comfortable.
With the Vaccine Centers not being at a convenient distance for everyone, it creates a transport problem. Bluebikes offer of free ride tries to solve this problem. This is a step towards making the vaccine sites within reach of each and every person, making it eligible and free transport for people to get the vaccines with minimal restrictions. Starting from 19th April it is supposed to be available through May as well.
With a $1 million commitment to this initiative, the hope is to reach out and help the people to get vaccinated.
