Redmi is one of the leading manufacturers of medium-budget phones in the world. Their phones are well known to be equipped with fast processors and segment-leading cameras. But this the first time that Redmi has stepped into the gaming phones segment. While this phone is a part of K40 series, it has completely different specs compared to the existing models. Redmi K40: Launch Date
The phone is expected to launch in late September of this year. Redmi has teased the phone’s features and first look in a video already. The official unveiling and spec discussion is scheduled on April 27th.
Price and colour options
Priced at about 300 euros it will cost around 27,000 rupees in India. This is probably the cheapest phone in the gaming segment. It may be available in Black, Dark blue, white, Grey and Purple.

K40 gaming phone comes fully loaded with amazing features. It boasts an octa-core super fast processor for a smooth, lag free and an intense gaming experience. This is even what gamers mainly expect from a gaming phones processor. After all, we wouldn’t want our phone to slow down during an intense racing or pubg game now, do we?
Battery and Memory
The phone is rumored to have an 8gb RAM and 128gb internal storage. This is a huge advantage as we would not have to worry about the memory running out due to all the big games, songs or any other files. The phone may run on android v11 operating systems. Battery capacity might be about 5000mAh and will come with superfast charging. This big battery will let us play games for a longer time without having to worry about the phone dying during a big game.
Body and Display
An impressive metal body with special shoulder keys is an important take away about the phone. Triple camera of 64 megapixels is expected on the phone. A Samsung OLED display with a high refresh rate and screen with 6.67 inches and 1080*2400 pixels is expected.
