“I have not heard anything about a season nine. I mean, what would, you know, like what would happen Stefan and Damon are, you know, Damon has like grey hair and they’re, they have canes like, ‘Oh, I got, gotta feed the baby.’ You know what I mean? No, listen, it ran it, it ran a great course. And now it’s still living. That’s what’s so amazing. It’s still living”

Well, thanks to Netflix, all the episodes are stored there and we can binge-watch them anytime. So, there’s nothing to be sad about it.

“It’s beyond living. I mean, you never could have imagined that there would be a global platform. None of us could have imagined like Netflix where, I mean, you hear of your show airing around the world. Now you can measure how many streams it’s getting it’s on. I mean, it really is incredible. No one could have imagined that”, Andy, the anchor of the show, says to Ian at a live show SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen.

Therefore, there’s no new season of TVD, we are blessed to watch a total of eight seasons and 171 episodes from Netflix.
