John Wick starring Keanu Reeves is an American action-thriller film series, written by Derek Kolstad and directed by Chad Stahelski. The film also features other actors like- Michael Nyqvist, Alfie Allen, Adrianne Palicki, Bridget Moynahan, Dean Winters, Ian McShane, John Leguizamo, and Willem Dafoe. The storyline focusses on a man named John Wick, who is in search of the people who stole his vintage car and killed his dog, which were also the last gifts he received from his recently deceased wife.
Bob Odenkirk’s Nobody
Emmy winner Bob Odenkirk will be starring as Hutch Mansell, in the upcoming American action-thriller- Nobody, directed by Ilya Naishuller and written by Derek Kolstad. The film is scheduled for release on 25 February 2021. Besides, Connie Nielsen, RZA, Aleksei Serebryakov, and Christopher Lloyd will also play major roles in the film.
Is Nobody a John Wick Spinoff?
There is striking similarity between Bob Odenkirk’s Nobody and the titular ex-mercenary Keanu Reeves’ John Wick, which is making us wonder if the two films come from the same movie universe.
Though John Wick was distributed by Lionsgate, and Nobody by Universal, the creative continuity between films can be related as both of these has been produced by David Leitch and written by Derek Kolstad.
