If you are one of those lucky souls that are using an Android 11 phone, then this article is for you. Android 11 has some cool features and it would be a shame if you didn’t use them. So, to help you here I am going to list down some of the best features that you should definitely try.
Bubble Messages
In Android 11, you can have your message pop-up as a bubble just like how it does in Facebook Messenger. Samsung has had this feature for a long time. When you receive a new message, swipe down from the top and click the small circle in the bottom-right corner of the notification. And then the bubble will stay on screen, no matter what are you doing. New messages will appear from the bubble and you can open it from there.
Screen Recording
Android 11 has finally added a built-in screen recording function. Almost every mobile company had added this to their skin, but Google hadn’t. Just expand the notification bar, and tap on-screen recording. You will then be asked whether you want to record audio too or not. This feature can be useful for various reasons like – tech tutorials, gameplay, etc.
Notification History
If like me, you also mistakenly swipe away the notifications without reading them. And later realize that it was important. Well, Google has us covered. The History button at the bottom of the notification shade will show you all the notifications from the past 24 hours. So, now we won’t miss any important notification.
More power to the power button
Android 11 is going to make the ordinary power button quite extra-ordinary. The power button can now launch a new screen, which includes a shortcut to Google Pay. There will also be a home section where you could do a lot of things. Things like the thermostat, lights, etc.
Dark Mode
Dark Mode isn’t new to Android. But, Android 11 is bringing some new changes to it. You can now schedule dark mode on your device. Keep it light in the morning, and dark at night, your choice. To schedule dark mode, click on the dark theme icon in the quick settings menu, and select the scheduling option of your choice.
So, that’s it. Do try these features if you have an Android 11 device. And Also, if you are a fan of dark mode but don’t know how to turn it on in Whatsapp, read this article.
