Fitbit has recently launched two new smartwatches, that has a laser focus on user’s health. With the usual Versa series, the fitness company has now launched a premium smartwatch with several intriguing features, called the Fitbit Sense. Fitbit Sense looks similar to the Fitbit Versa 3 but has several extra perks and a feature that will challenge the rival, iWatches.
Fitbit Sense is available to pre-order in Fitbit’s official website that costs $100 more than Fitbit Versa 3. Versa 3 costs $229, while the premium Fitbit Sense costs $329. The fitness company added an extra layer of health guidance with their Fitbit Premium plan, free for six months. When you buy the Fitbit Sense, you will get a six-month trial of the Fitbit Premium. Fitbit Premium includes audio tracks to calm yourself in case of stress, additional sleep score data, and personalized health guidance and workouts routine.
Fitbit Sense: Features
The Fitbit Sense has the new electrodermal activity (EDA) sensor, ECG monitor, and a skin temperature sensor. These features aren’t available in the Fitbit Versa 3, and the new EDA sensor is also not available in the latest iWatch. The design is quite similar to Fitbit Versa 3, but the case is made of stainless steel. Versa 3’s case is made of aluminium and comes in three colours.
Fitbit Sense’s fitness and health features cannot be compared with Versa 3’s limited features. The Fitbit Sense has an app store, and also you can perform mobile payments. Fitbit Sense supports two of the major voice assistants of the current time, the Alexa and Google Assistant.
Fitbit claims that a fully-charged Fitbit Sense can last up to six days. The smartwatch also features fast charging. The new reports claim that Fitbit is working on the new feature to add in the Fitbit Sense. The fitness company is currently waiting for the pending FDA approval. You can pre-order the Fitbit Sense and wait till 25th September, when the product ships at your doorstep.
