DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone has been officially released

On November 2, DJI unveiled the Mavic 3 Classic. It is except for its telescopic lens, and the new drone incorporates features from the DJI Mavic 3. It was introduced last year. 

The Mavic 3 Classic has a 46-minute flight time on a single charge. Also, it is essentially a toned-down version of the Mavic 3. According to estimates, this flight time is “30% longer than preceding DJI drone models.”

Details and features for the DJI Mavic 3 Classic

The Mavic 3 Classic has a 20-megapixel 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad sensor, according to the specifications. Also, it processes video in 10-bit D-Log and 12-bit RAW for pictures. The drone can record 5.1K, 4K, and 1080p footage at 60 frames per second. 

Users can control the speed and direction of the shots using the Cruise Control feature. Also, it makes use of the O3+ transmission technology. The good news is that customers of DJI goods already in use can purchase the device as a drone alone, without a controller or charger. 

So you can save even more money if you own RC-N1, DJI RC, or RC Pro controllers. These three controllers are all compatible with the O3+ transmission system. Further, it has a 15-kilometre range.

The new drone can track and frame subjects while operating the camera using cinematic flight patterns. Just like the original Mavic 3, Active Track 5.0 can recognise and lock onto specific persons, animals, or objects.

Even the batteries are identical between the newest Classic model and the Mavic 3. It supports APAS 5.0 and all-around collision detection and has the same ADS-B receiver.

Prices and availability for the DJI Mavic 3 Classic

The brand-new Mavic 3 Classic drone alone costs 1,469 dollars in the US. The drone costs $1,599. It comes with a DJI RC-N1 remote controller and a charger. The drone costs $1,749 when equipped with a DJI RC remote controller and a charger. The DJI Mavic 3 Classic’s cost and availability in India are currently unknown.

How to view the DJI takeoff

The announcement will occur on DJI’s official YouTube channel on November 2 at 9 a.m. EDT/1 p.m. GMT. Furthermore, there is currently a placeholder. In Australia, that translates to November 2 at midnight. AEDT.
