Trump Mocks Biden: Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Trump has lashed out at Biden. Trump suffering an embarrassing defeat in the 2020 United States General Elections. Joe Biden emerged victorious in that election.

This invasion has served as a major campaign issue for Donald Trump. Ever since the invasion, he has been trying increase to raise his approval ratings by leveraging this invasion. Trump Mocks Biden

Trump has launched various public attacks on Biden. He has left no stone unturned to try and turn this invasion into a marketing gimmick for himself. In a widely circulated statement, Trump called Putin a genius and said that the problem was with Biden’s being not very smart.

He said: “I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, ‘This is genius.’ Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine – of Ukraine. Putin declares it as an independent. Oh, that’s wonderful.

The “big portion” is being referred to as the two provinces of Ukraine that Russia has recognized as independent. This is the pretext on which Russia has sent its forces into Ukraine. Ever since the invasion, several nations have imposed sanctions on Russia. Russia has also been severely warned by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization or NATO.

Biden’s Response

Biden has laughed off the criticism when he was made privy about Trump mocking him. He mocked Trump for calling Putin a genius.

Biden said: “I put as much stock in Trump saying that Putin’s a genius as I do when he called himself a stable genius,”

Trump has been mocking Biden quite aggressively. Until now, Biden hasn’t responded much to Mr. Trump’s statements. Mr. Biden has been busy with try to gather as much help as possible for Ukraine. He has also maintained a firm stance of not letting the US military be involved in this war.
