Rangetsu and her twin brother Sogetsu are Ajin. Now, Ajin are the ones who have exceptional features of beasts. They live in such a prejudice kingdom that they compel Ajin men to become a fighter. And the law compels Ajin women to work in brothels or house of ill repute. On top of that, all the Ajin boys who show distinctive characteristics, they mobilize them to serve in the royal palace as beast domestic workers.
The people who have them have higher status and powerful shields. And yet the world can reject or treat them without any care.
