Fist of the North Star ( 北斗の拳) is a Japanese manga series, set on a post-apocalyptic Earth after a nuclear war. The storyline is by Buronson. The series is illustrated by Tetsuo Hara. It was published from 1983 to 1988, and has 27 volumes, under the Jump Comics imprint. The manga is action, sci-fi, martial art-based and is one of the most popular manga of all time, selling over 100 million copies.

After an apocalypse, the world has gone to waste. Bandits rule the world, and the world has turned upside down. Justice is nothing but a dying concept. A savior, knowing the “Fist of the North Star” technique, decides to be the one that makes everything right. The savior, Kenshiro saves the innocent from the violence of evil. He sets a journey to make the world a better place. And eventually, he wants to find his beloved Julia.

Rei and Kenshiro merge together to knock out the menacing Kiba and the Fang Clan. They finally save Mamiya, and pave their way to save Airi (Rei’s sister). But Kiba forces them to fight or he’ll kill her. As Kenshiro and Rei take on the challenge, a war occurs with another, someone with the title of “a man with seven scars”; Jagi.
