According to many tabloids, the wedding took place on Saturday in front of intimate friends  and family. The Prime Minister’s Office has declined to  respond.

“Congratulations @BorisJohnson and @carriesymonds on your marriage today,” Work and  Pensions Secretary Therese Coffey tweeted.Since Johnson’s election as Prime Minister in 2019, he and Symonds, 33, have shared a flat  in Downing Street.

Their son, Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson,  was born in April 2020, after they announced they were engaged and expecting a kid last year.

The Sun claimed earlier this month that  wedding invitations for July 2022 had been distributed to friends and family.

Past Marriage

Johnson’s most recent marriage was to lawyer Marina Wheeler. They have four children  together before announcing their divorce in September 2018.

Covid-19 Restrictions

Arlene Foster, the First Minister of Northern Ireland, also congratulated them on Twitter.

The Mail was sent on Sunday, 30 people were invited to the ceremony on short notice, which is the maximum number of people allowed in England under Covid rules.

As per the report, a small number of church officials were involved in the Catholic ceremony, which was presided by Father Daniel Humphreys.

According to the Sun, senior Downing Street advisers were unaware of the nuptials.

The public was requested to leave  Westminster Cathedral just after 13:30 BST, according to the statement.

Ms Symonds, 33, is said to have arrived in a  white gown to exchange vows with the prime minister. Johnson’s Downing Street office declined to  comment on the reports through a spokesman.

Both publications said that attendees were  invited to the central London event at the last minute, and that even top members of Johnson’s staff were uninformed of the arrangements.
