Netflix’s popular crime drama series Who Killed Sara recently premiered its second season. And to everyone’s surprise, the latest season ended on a cliffhanger. Now fans are wondering if there’s any chance for the series renewal. Check out for more details.
Who Killed Sara: Season 3
The Mexican series has 2 seasons till date. The latest one arrived on May 19, 2021 with 8 episodes. Each episode has 40 minutes runtime. Who Killed Sara season 2 has gripped viewers with its suspense storyline. The cliffhanger ending suggests that Who Killed Sara should have another season to complete the whole plot.
However neither the makers of the show nor Netflix have announced anything regarding the show’s future. The second season announced close to Who Killed Sara season 1 premier, which is March 24 2021. 2 seasons have premiered back to back in the same year. Now fans have to wait for further updates. Jose Ignacio Valenzuela created the show and Perro Azul produced it.
Who Killed Sara: Season 3 Possible Plot
Who Killed Sara is a story of Alex Guzman, who is initially shown as a criminal for apparently killing his sister Sara. After spending 18 years in jail he is on a mission to find the real killer. He also wants to get revenge on Lazcano family: the family of Sara’s boyfriend Rodolfo.
On the day of the incident young Sara was influenced by her friends to have a paragliding experience. Unfortunately Sara’s faced major injuries after parachute accident and died in the way to hospital. Sara’s friends and brother Alex were with her during the mishap.
In the end of season 2, Alex could not find the real killer, but a hint was shown that Nicandro is somehow involved in the murder. The ending scene reveals, Nicandro was talking about some project with someone in the phone and searching for Sara’s file. The scene shows 2 confusing pictures of Dr. Alanis and Sara with “SG: First Patient of the Project” written on it.
Now simply to clarify Nicandro’s intention Who Killed Sara needs another fresh season. Nicandro is a series regular and he was also present with Sara in the yacht, when he died. In the upcoming season, if ever it happens will show, Nicandro’s story and how Alex continues his search for the real culprit.

The lead cast of Who Killed Sara includes Manolo Cardona as Alex Guzman, Alejando Nones as Rodolfo Lazcano, Ximena Lamadrid as Sara Guzman, Carolina Miranda as Elisa Lazcano, Eugenio Siller as Jose Maria, Martin Saracho as Nicandro and more.
