Eternals is a 2021 American epic superhero film based on the Marvel comics, is all set to make its debut on 5th November 2021.

The film was directed by Chloe Zhao, who wrote the screenplay with Patrick Burleigh, Ryan Fipro, and Kaz Fipro.

It is the 26th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Let’s find out more about Eternals.

Eternals follows a group of ancient immortal beings who have been living on the earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite and protect Earth’s human population from the Deviants.

  • Richard Madden as Ikaris, the most powerful of the Eternals.
  • Gemma Chan is Sersi, a lover of humankind whose origin story overlaps with that of the circle from Homer’s Odyssey.
  • Angelina Jolie is Thena, a warrior, and representative for the goddess Athena on earth.
  • Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, a celestial being living on Earth as a Bollywood star.

Marvel’s Eternals Gets Review Bombed 

As per news reports, the days before its release, Marvel Studio’s Eternals is being review bombed on IMDB. Review-bombing is a phenomenon on the internet where a large number of people leave negative reviews of a product to express their dissatisfaction.

For Eternals, the review bombing started before its release, which means people are posting negative reviews without watching the movie. Eternals currently has a rating of 6.4 on IMDB after 73 reviews.

The common point of criticism among the negative reviews is the inclusion of gay kisses and the film’s LGBTQ+ representation. Since IMDB has removed the negative reviews and it’s more likely to reopen the review section once the movie is released.

Release Date 

The most anticipated movie is finally set to make its debut in just a few days. Eternals is the third film in Marvel’s Phase 4 plans. The movie also won’t get a release date on Disney Plus. The Walt Disney Company has confirmed that it will be available six weeks after its debut.

The MCU movie is already delayed twice due to the pandemic, but now it is set to arrive in cinemas worldwide. So, it will arrive in theaters on Friday, 5th November 2021.
