The Plot
The movie follows the story of a single mom and her two children who got evicted from their home. They move into the dilapidated farmhouse in Oklahoma that was left to them by the children’s late grandfather. When the family gets there, they learn about the unexplained earthquakes that have been a big problem for the town.
Later, the children discover the history of their grandfather with the original Ghostbusters. Now, it’s up to the new generation to uncover the mysteries from the past and use the old equipment to face the supernatural crisis plaguing their small, Oklahoma town. It remains to be seen how the movie turns out.
Had a bucket load of fun with #GhostbustersAfterlife. It’s a great homage that finds balance in embracing its farce (Paul Rudd!) and its contrasting, serious familial elements. Loved the central mystery and how it roped in the new Ghostbusting protégés + McKenna Grace 👏🏻 pic.twitter.com/oE3Dcza5PF
