Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. It was released in a single tankobon volume in December 2018.
It was licensed for English release in North America by Viz Media. An anime film adaptation by MAPPA and directed by Sunghoo Park has been announced to premiere in Japan in December 2021.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Plot
The story of Jujutsu Kaisen is set in a world where Cursed Spirits feed on unsuspecting humans. The story follows a high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host.
The story is all about, Yuta Okkotsu who is haunted by the spirit of his childhood friend Rika, who died in a traffic accident, and his spirit has been cursed.
Unable to control Rika’s immense power, Yuta is helpless to stop the bloodshed caused by his curse. As a result, Yuta is arrested by jujutsu sorcerers. Yuta wishes to die in complete isolation but Satoru Gojo offers him a different path. He told Yuta to join Jujutsu High. From now on, Yuta begins to gain the confidence to feel alive.
Release Date
This Japanese manga series is one of the most popular series. Its chapters are collected and published by Shueisha with seventeen tankobon volumes released as of October 2021. Jujutsu Kaisen is a sequel to Akutami’s Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, serialized in Shueisha’s Jump GIGA.
