Nippon Animation’s anime television series adaption ran from April to June 2021, with a second season set to premiere in October 2021. On February 14, 2020, an anime television series adaption was announced through Twitter. Nippon Animation animated the series, which was directed by Jun Kamiya.
Naruhito Arakawa handled the series composition, and Ayano Yoshioka designed the characters. The anime was created in collaboration with Tajimi’s tourism association. The series broadcasted on CBC and other networks till June 21, 2021.

Let’s make a mug too is a series that is all about pottery, and there’s a lot of it. Pottery from Tajimi City in Gifu Prefecture, in particular. Let’s make a mug together. Toyokawa Himeno, a lovely high schooler who has lately moved to the countryside, is the protagonist at the starting of the series.
We see in the series that, Himeno comes off as a serious but fun young man right away. Her widowed father operates a cafe, which Himeno is keen to help out with. Thankfully, rather than helping out at the family business, her grandma urges her to go meet friends. Of course, they had that café only because her father went bankrupt, which is strangely amusing. It’s most likely due to Himeno’s manner of announcing it to her peers.
In the series, Himeno is a great lead character to watch. She is really sincere. It’s one of the reasons she gets along with the girls she encounters. It’s one of the reasons she’ll be so much joy to spend time with as Let’s Make a Mug Too progresses. Her naturally cheerful personality shines through on the computer screen.
