The show is based on the medical drama Doogie Howser, M.D. by Steven Bochco & David E. Kelley. The cast also includes Kathleen Rose Perkins, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, Jason Scott Lee, and Ronny Chieng.

What happened in the previous episodes?
The show revolves around Lahela, a teenage girl trying to handle her high school life and complicated family drama while being a teen doctor. In the episode “License to Not Drive”, Lahela is seen as a normal messed up kid who is trying to convince her parents to go for a drive. She feels weird that her parents see her as just a kid but not a responsible adult who saves the lives of thousands.
She feels strange that even after saving the lives of so many people, she is not getting enough appreciation whereas her brothers who are not doing anything worthy are getting praised for smaller tasks. Out of frustration, Lahela tries to go for a drive without telling anyone but things don’t go according to her plan when her car breaks down. Her brother Kai comes to her rescue and tells her he is willing to teach her how to be a reckless teenager.
