About The Rookie
The Rookie is an American police drama television series created for ABC by Alexi Hawley and produced by Michele Greco. The series premiered on October 16, 2018. In May 2021, the series was renewed for a fourth season which is scheduled to premiere on September 26, 2021.
The series is about John Nolan, a 45-year old divorced man from Pennsylvania, former owner of a construction company, and father of a son in college. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue a new career as a police officer in LAPD. Nathan Fillion (executive producer) stated during an interview that the drama was inspired by a true story.
In this episode titled “Life and Death”, Officer Nolan and the team race against time to find Lopez after she was abducted on her wedding day. Their main goal is to save the life of their unborn child. It remains to be seen what twists and turns take place as the story progresses.
