Takemichi Hanagaki is the protagonist of the manga. He is currently 26-years old and living a very boring life. This is a gang of vicious criminals.

By some turn of events, Takemichi realizes he can travel back in time. He meets Naoto and tells him the date of their death thus saving his life. But after returning to the present he realizes Hinata was still dead but Naoto was alive and he was a detective now. Takemichi seems to be able to turn the tide of time. Takemichi realizes he has a chance to save Hinata. He decides to infiltrate and ascend the Tokyo Manji Gang to re-establish the future and save Hinata from her tragic fate.
