Since March 2017, it has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine. Liden Films’ version of the anime television series premiered in April 2021. In July 2021, a live-action film adaption will be released in Japan.
Storyline
Takemichi Hanagaki, a hopeless 26-year-old freeter, discovers one day that his middle school ex-girlfriend Hinata Tachibana and her younger brother Naoto have been murdered by the Tokyo Manji Gang. Takemichi teleports exactly 12 years into the past to 2005 when he is pushed in front of a train.
After telling Naoto that Hinata will die, Takemichi is suddenly taken back to the present, creating a temporal paradox in which Naoto survives and becomes a detective. When Naoto and Takemichi hold hands, Naoto deduces that Takemichi can travel back 12 years. Takemichi swears to save Hinata with knowledge from the future.

Final Arc of Tokyo Revengers
The story has reached the final arc, here we see, Takemichi returns to the present to discover that his buddies are still alive and well, but Mikey, who hasn’t spoken to any of his friends in over a decade, has formed a new group named Bonten.
Takemichi can no longer travel to the past through Naoto, but when he saves Mikey from jumping from a building, he travels ten years back to the year 2008. He is now in high school and discovers that, since the Tokyo Manji Group disbanded.
A power battle has erupted between Rokuhara Tandai, Brahman, and Mikey’s new gang, the Kanto Manji Gang. Takemichi joins Brahman, lead by Senju Kawaragi, in the hopes of finding Mikey, and gains the ability to see into the future.
Tokyo Revengers Chapter 221Release Date
Tokyo Revengers Chapter 221 is expected to release on September 8, 2021. A new chapter of the Tokyo Revengers manga is released every Wednesday. Previously, some chapters had been delayed due to unclear reasons, however, the manga seems to be back on track now.
