As of now, there has been no announcement and confirmation regarding Star vs The Forces of Evil Season 5. Fans will have to wait a little more for some announcement from showrunners.
American Animated magical girl television series ‘Star vs. The Force of Evil is created by Daron Nefcy. Jordana Arkin and Dave Wasson developed the series. So far Disney Channel and Disney XD have been airing the series. This is the3rd overall series in Disney Television Animation after the Pepper Ann of 1997 and Doc McStuffins of 2012 and the first series that is created by a female for Disney Television Animation. Star vs The Forces of Evil Season 5 is the latest upcoming season and fans are patiently waiting for it.
The History Of The Star vs The forces Of Evil And Story.
Coming from the dimension of Mewni and the heiress to the royal throne of the Butterfly Kingdom comes the star butterfly also known as the magical princess. As the tradition follows, she gets the family heirloom on her 14th birthday. But soon she sets the family castle on fire. Her parents are worried about her behavior she is sent on earth as a foreign exchange student in order to continue her magic training. On earth, she becomes friends with a student Marco Diaz and begins living with his family in suburban Los Angeles, and attends the Echo Creek Academy.
The series further takes us to misadventures using “dimensional scissors” that open portals. Both star and Marco are struggling to protect the star’s wand from falling into the hands of Ludo along with dealing with everyday school life. Ludo is a half-bird, half-man creature from the land of Mewni who is a commander of a group of monsters.
As the series goes further more and more antagonist enters the series that are more threatening. This includes the mysterious monster Toffee and former queen Eclipsa’s half-Mewman, half-monster daughter Meteora Butterfly. Now the focus shifts on more threatening monsters leaving behind Ludo. The story shifts its focus to a more complex and narrative that has numerous conflicts that revolve around the rulership of Mewni. Pat of the butterfly family is depicted. The main focus is on the Queen of Darkness named Eclipsa Butterfly.
She is the most famous member of the history butterfly family. In the following seasons, Secondary protagonists such as Star Mewman best friend pony head, the star’s half-demon ex-boyfriend Tom, the mischievous Janna, and magic high commission member Hekapoo and the queen moon also join the series and take bigger roles.
Star vs The Forces of Evil Season 5 Release Date
The first episode of the series was released on January 18, 2015, in form of a preview episode. Which later made it to Disney XD, on March 30, 2015, the first episode was released. The series was widely followed by fans and was the most loved and viewed series of Disney XD history. Soon the series was renewed for a second season of which episode the first episode was released on July 11, 2016, followed by the third which was released on July 15, 2017, and the fourth was released on March 10, 2019.
The series has been a hit ever since its release. All the seasons received positive reviews and feedback from all the critics and fans. After the final episode of the fourth season was released, fans have been eagerly waiting for the fifth season and renewal of the series. Its been almost a year now since the last episode of the series was released. With this, there has been no announcement from the showrunners and Disney regarding the fifth season of the series.

Hence fans have decided to write a petition to Disney for the renewal of the series. Fans came together and decided on the petition. There is a chance that showrunners will pay attention to the demand of the fan and would come with a fresh new series of ‘Star vs The Force of Evil’.

In case if the series is bouncing back, we expect the main protagonist to return back. We can surely say that unlike all the seasons Eden Sher would be providing a voice for the character of Star. Fans also expect the coming back of Adam McArthur who voiced the character of Marco.
Fans also expect the return of Nia Vardalos as Mrs. Diaz, Nate Torrence as Ferguson, Dee Dee Rescher as Skullnicka, Alan Tudyk as Ludo, Artt Butler as Mr. Diaz, Jenny as Pony head. In the fourth season, the series reached the point where both star and Marco realized their feelings towards each other. In the fifth season, we expect them to confront their feelings towards each other. Fans expect the formation of a romantic relationship between them and more challenges.
