Peter Katsis, American Music Manager who at the age of 23 discovered his first group or band called Ministry, an industrial alt-rock band of Chicago. Katsis also become a partner or member of a talent agency called The Firm and even moved to Los Angles for the same. While being in the agency he helped a number of bands which include Backstreet Boys, Enrique Iglesias, Korn, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Snoop Dogg, One Direction, and many many more. At present, Peter Katsis is a partner at YM&U Group in Beverly Hills. In YM&U Group he manages, various artists such as Morrissey, Bush, Fever 333, Jane’s Addiction, 311, and Liz Phair, and many more.
Peter Katsis and Simpsons Controversy Explained
Peter Katsis who is currently the talent manager of Morrissey is very angry over the new Simpsons episode called “Panic On The Streets of Springfield” accusing the sitcom of showcasing Morrissey in a downgrading manner. They also claimed that the creators of the sitcom have shown serious hate towards him and are trying to create a new and big controversy through him and the episode.
As per the episode, “Panic On The Streets of Springfield” which revolves around Lisa Simpsons and his imaginary friend who was just her illusion which gets a break when she saw British musician named Quilloughby (character reference to Morrissey) who tends to be “sulking and is very Intimidating” at a Festival. Willoughby used the frontman of the band called “The Snuffs”. Lisa Simpsons gets shocked after she realized Quilloughby is just an overweight, racist and ill-mannered version of her imaginary friend.
Why Peter Katsis is angry at the makers?
Peter Katsis, manager of Morrissey that the creators have shown Morrissey as a ver racist with ethnocentric ideas. He has shown the artist to be overweight and very ill-mannered human which is kind of defaming Morrissey through the sitcom.
