Megalo Box Season 2 Episode 5: Release Date, Time and Watch Online

\Megalo Box was created with respect to the 50th anniversary of the manga Ashita no Joe. It is produced by the studio TMS Entertainment and 3xCube. Season 1 of the anime was aired from 6th April 2018 to 29th June 2018. The Megalo Box Season 2 Episode 5: Nomad started on 4th April 2021. Here’s a YouTube Link for the season 2 trailer.

Megalo Box is a shonen sports drama anime set in a dystopian dark futuristic world where the wealthy who are licensed citizens live in the city, while the poor who are unlicensed0 citizens live in the outskirts of the city. The sport of megalo boxing is a popular sport which is the major entertainment for the people in which boxers fight while wearing a metal frame, which makes it more dangerous. Junk Dog, an underground fighter also known as Gearless Joe, because he fights without wearing gear, works to join the Megalonia, a World Boxing Tournament.

It is directed by Yō Moriyama, written by screenwriters Katsuhiko Manabe and Kensaku Kojima, while the music composition is from hip-hop artist  Mabanua. The second season is set 5 years after the occurrences of the first season. It is rated 8.24 on myanimelist. The second season will have a total of 13 episodes, the same as the first season. The episode 5 will air on 2 May on Tokyo MX and BS11 at 11:00 PM JST. The new episode usually airs on Sunday. The 5th episode is titled “La tierra prometida respondió que el mesías no se quedará”.

Where to Watch Online:

The fans can watch online the new episode with Japanese audio and English subtitles on Funimation, Wakanim, and AnimeLab. Premium users of Funimation can watch it on the release date itself. To watch it for free the users would have to wait an extra week as the release date would be 11 May.

The first season of the anime is available to watch on Crunchyroll. After the last dramatic episode, many things can happen in the upcoming new episode.
