GTA is soon to release its Next-Gen GTA 5. Here are all the latest updates that you would like to know along with the tentative Release Date.
Next-Gen GTA 5
GTA, that is, Great Theft Auto is an action video game packed with adventure. It is created by David Jones and Mike Dailly. As the name suggests, Grand Theft Auto, refers to automobile thievery.
The video game series has been in news quite a lot because of its adult and violent graphics. It was originally released on 21 October 1997, Grand Theft Auto. And to mention its latest release, it is Grand Theft Auto V on 17 September 2013.
Coming to the Next-Gen GTA 5, there is not much news and announcements. It is still a mystery for all of us. But as it says Next-Gen, so it is pretty obvious that there will be noticeable enhancement and modifications for all the GTA gamers. The Next-Gen GTA 5 will have better graphics, story DLCs, an expanded map, cross-play, and few other improvements too.
There have also been leaks and rumors about GTA 6 too! Yes, you heard it right GTA 6 is also on the way along with GTA 5.
Updates and Tentative Release Date
Next-Gen GTA 5 is a more expanded and enhanced version of its predecessor. It is happening finally after seven years from the initial release of GTA 5 (GTA Auto V). Talking about the compatibility, you will be able to play the new enhanced GTA 5 on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
The exact release date of Next-Gen GTA 5 is yet to be announced. However, as far as we know it will be released somewhere in the second half of 2021.
GTA 5 is coming to “new generation consoles” in the second half of 2021, this confirmation has come from Rockstar. But there is not much clarity about what exact enhancement we will get to see.
“The new generation versions of GTA 5 will feature a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the latest hardware, making the game more beautiful and more responsive than ever,” described Rockstar (about the upgrades for GTA 5 on next-gen hardware).
Also, Rockstar Games on April 28 will make an announcement regarding the Enhanced and Expanded version of Grand Theft Auto 5 coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S at some point this year.
