The show first aired on March 20, 2019, and till now it consists of 14 episodes in total. The cast also includes Zoie Palmer, Patrick Gilmore, Deborah Grover, Alexa Rose Steele, and Jason Blicker.

The story revolves around Jann Arden who plays her own fictional self. She is a former songwriter and keeps herself away from the truth that her music career is fading. Not just her career, she has to face many other issues like her mother who is showing symptoms of memory loss, or the fact that she is single and lives with her sister who may disown her soon.

Jann believes in herself and becomes determined to regain the fame she once had. She hires a manager to rebuild her image. She faces issues in building her image in this new generation. In the last season, we see how she fires her manager after differences in their opinions and now that she is without one we will get to see Jann taking matters into her own hand and finding a new assistant to get back in the game.
