Marshmello is one of the most popular artists out there. With billions of followers all around the world, we still have a vague idea of who he really is. He never uncovered his mask and nobody has seen Marshmello Face. So that we can figure it out, It has always been a fan’s fantasy and curiosity in knowing his real identity.

His identity is hidden. Even artists he has worked with do not know his true identity. Back in 2018, remember when Marshmallow came on the stage of iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards and when he uncovered his face, Shawn Mendes, a Canadian singer came out. It was pretty shocking to the fans but it was also a trick by Marshmallow. We know Shawn Mendes is not Marshmello.
We got close when Forbes magazine tries to uncover the mystery, they even got close. In that article they said, it’s possible that Marshmello’s real name is Chris Comstock. Forbes came to this conclusion because Skrillex calling Marshmello “Chris”. They also said that the DJ who goes by the name of Dotcom is also Marshmello.
They have cited much evidence which is true but it has not been confirmed by Marshmello’s lawyer or agent. Forbes also said that Marshmello has a tattoo on his leg, the same tattoo can be found on the DJ Dotcom, which can purely be a coincidence.
Why Marshmallow Hide His Face?
The primary reason Marshmallow’s face is hidden all the time is because of his love for music and disdain for fame. Marshmallow wants to be connected to his fans via his music and doesn’t want fame. In a statement he wrote, “I don’t take my helmet off because I don’t want or need fame, I’m genuinely trying to create something positive for people to connect with.”
But whoever he is, I don’t think we will find out soon. He likes to take his private life seriously and we are no one to interfere in his life if he doesn’t want to make it public. All we can do is guess for fun but there is no chance that he will reveal it in the near future.
