Everyone’s life in today’s modern era depends on electricity and electrical appliances. As we all know they are more compatible and saves a lot of our time. Most of us have a microwave, an oven, a dishwasher, a washing machine that assists our daily life. These appliances now no more seem a luxury to us are becoming necessities of our life. Our life mostly now depends on these electronics and revolves around them.
Washing Machine That Not Only Washes Clothes But Even Turns Out To Be An Electrical Explosive.
We now tend to trust these electronics more than we trust our fellow humans. We put clothes to wash and believe it will wash our clothes without our assistance. We put a cake in the oven and wait for it to get it done on its own. Trusting this appliance sometimes seems dangerous as it can cause several unpredictable disasters. These appliances no doubt make our lives easy but we need to make sure that they don’t rule it.
This is what will happen if we are not careful about them or if we depend on them completely. Whirlpool washing machine operated by a Scottish entrepreneur gave her the shock of life as it exploded between cycles. The machine not only left her in shock but even left her kitchen in disastrous condition.
Laura Birrell took to Facebook in order to inform people about the incident and to tell them to be a little careful while operating them. She said ” I have often heard don’t leave your washing machine on when you leave the house. Well, today I am glad that I did not go out anywhere as my machine literally exploded. with a glass sink drainer unit, I thought I bomb had gone off, glass everywhere.
That is the machine drum that exploded through the worktop and drainer. Fortunately, I was in as smoke started to appear so I quickly switched it off. It not the best Sunday that is for sure. But I will never leave a washing machine in again when I am out. I can’t even imagine what the outcome would be if myself, Warren or Mark were in the kitchen at the time.”
The family was lucky to not get affected by any form of injuries as they were away from the kitchen at the time of the explosion. Though the incident left the kitchen in a very bad condition. The real cause behind the explosion is not yet known. Laura said that its the machine drum that exploded. She even said that she is going to let the manufacturer about the same.
After coming to know about the incident a spokesperson reached to the family, saying that they initiated the injury. In a statement given by the company is was said that ” our thoughts are with the residents affected by this incidents, and we are investigating the situation. We have spoken to the customer and one of our engineers will visit the property this Wednesday, as we seek to understand what happened as a matter of urgency.”
