With Meghan stallion, Ingrid Andress, Phoebe Bridgers, Chika, Noah Cyrus, D Smoke, Doja Cat, and Kaytranada were also nominated under the category but it was Meghan who took the trophy her home.
In her speech, she thanked her mother who passed away in 2019 because of a brain tumor. She appreciated her fellow nominees as well. It was an emotional speech, the rapper has given. She also performed on her famous song ‘Wap’ in the award ceremony along with Cardy B.
