Realme, the sub-brand of Oppo is back again in the market with its latest smartphone Realme 8. Here’s all the details you would like to know.
Specifications and Price:
Talking about the Network system, the smartphone comes with GSM/HSPA/LTE.
Weighing at 177g, it has a glass front with plastic frame and back. It supports dual sim with with dual stand-by. The phone looks good in the hand but the plastic back makes the phone a bit slippery in sweaty hands.
The display is fine. It has Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The screen size is a bit big with 6.4 inches.
It runs on Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0. The smartphone is packed with Mediatek Helio G95 (12 nm) chipset with an Octa-core (2×2.05 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) processor. GPU is Mali-G76 MC4.
The smartphone comes in 3 variants– (128GB, 4GB RAM) (128GB, 6GB RAM) (128GB, 8GB RAM).
Coming to the camera, the rear camera has– (Quad)

Speaker of the phone is decent. The smartphone supports 3.5mm jack.
Talking about the connectivity, the smartphone has WLAN, GPS, Radio, USB (Type-C 2.0). Other features include– Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass.
Battery life of the phone impressive. It comes with Li-Po 5000 mAh, non-removable battery. Also supports 30W fast charging, 100% in 65 minutes (as the company says).
The phone comes in two colour variants–
Cyber Silver and Cyber Black.
Price and Release
Priced at 14,999 Realme 8 is a good buy. Considering all the specifications, the mid segment smartphone will surely give competition to the other smartphone. Releasing on 25 March, the smartphone will be available in Flipkart and the Official Realme stores.
