On March 18, 2021, PlayStation announced its new gaming set ‘Next-Gen VR’ system. This new gaming controller is a new update for PlayStation 5. The PS5 VR will provide a deeply indulged sense for the gaming environment, as said by Hideaki Nishino.

Sony has been working on the Next-Gen VR for a while now, looks like their hard work is paid. The highlighted part of their work is PS5 adaptive triggers which give you a DualSense control. Let us know more about the VR’s design, specifications and adaptive triggers.

The above image is of two black coloured VR controllers known as ‘Orb.’ The Orb has adaptive triggers, which enhance the gaming experience like a person has to move his arms for swimming. This is due to the tension in the L2 or R2 buttons. The Haptic Feedback is interconnected to these characteristics. It makes the game more impactful, textured and nuanced.

Next, we have tracking and finger touch detection. The prototypes will be out soon but right now there is no release date for them.

The Sony PlayStation 5 has already won hearts with the unveiling of a VR controller. But that’s not it. It has DualSense, which is great and very powerful. They have Reduced stacking times, Friendlier capacity expansion, Capable of 8K / 120fps, and provides a 4K Blu-ray player (at long last).

Although everything is not gold and shiny. There are definitely some cons to this gaming system. It is definitely expensive. It lacks next-gen exclusives, not a big change from  PS4 Pro. Each game costs presently go up to Rs. 5,000. No bolster for Dolby Vision, also Dolby Atmos SSD capacity sum is prohibitive.
