Samsung Announced New Galaxy a Series Phones Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72

Samsung announced that they will be introducing two new smartphones under the Galaxy A-series. The company’s latest attempt is to hit the premium mid-range market. The Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 will be the world’s largest smartphone companies which will attract smartphone users who are not willing to pay a premium price for the Galaxy S21 series but want to own devices with the updated features.

A52 is available on 4G and 5G. A72 is available only for a 4G Phone.

Features of Samsung Galaxy A52 and A52 5G

The Samsung Galaxy A52 is smaller than the other two phones. The flat display is 6.5 and it weighs 189 grams with a battery that will last 2 days in between charging. The display has 1080p+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 90HZ for the 4G phone model and 120 HZ for the 5G version. The Brightness Mode for the phone can reach 800 nits of brightness for better visibility in spite of being in bright sunlight.

The Display is well protected by a sheet of Gorilla Glass 5, the additional section of the phone has additional protection. It has a rating of IP67 rating which means it has high resistance in the dust, it can also function in submersion up to 1m of water for a duration of 30 minutes.

The phone’s main attraction is the camera. The main module of the camera has a 64MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. It also has optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Tetra-binning tech. It is also enabled with four 0.8µm pixels. In the phone’s default mode, the camera 16MP takes binned photos, one can also take 64MP pictures with full resolution.

It has a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera (123º field of view), with a lens of f/2.2 lens with a fixed focus. It is equipped with a 5MP macro camera and a 5MP depth sensor. The 4G model is powered by Snapdragon 720G chipset, the 5G Phone gets the Snapdragon 750G. The main camera has the capacity to record 4K videos at 30 fps.
