BTS has been Officially included by Billboard on their decades-long list of “The Greatest Pop Star of Every Year”!
This week, Billboard named BTS, The Popular K-Pop Sensation as the “The Greatest Pop Star of 2020.” proceeding with its tradition of assigning a pop star that shone especially bright for each year. BTS joins a list of incredible singers that goes all the way back to 1981 and includes many other artists as well.
BTS 2020 Achievements

On March 6, Billboard took to Twitter to declare their ‘Most noteworthy Pop Star list’ from 1999-2000. Amazingly, BTS packed away the 2020 title as they were authoritatively named Billboard’s The Greatest Pop Star Of 2020. Throughout the long term, specialists who were regarded with the title. BTS is the first boy band to be awarded with the title since NSYNC, back in 2000. Overall, It is the seventh duo/band to be named ‘Greatest Pop Star’ by Billboard. Joining other bands like Backstreet Boys, Boyz II Men, Bon Jovi, Nirvana, TLC, and NSYNC. Furthermore, BTS is also the only Asian band to make it on the list ever.
Reporting BTS’s most recent accomplishment, Billboard’s Mia Nazareno wrote, “It’s difficult to disregard. That BTS is the First Asian Act to show up on this rundown close by undeniable.
