This week, Billboard named BTS, The Popular K-Pop Sensation as the “The Greatest Pop Star of 2020.” proceeding with its tradition of assigning a pop star that shone especially bright for each year. BTS joins a list of incredible singers that goes all the way back to 1981 and includes many other artists as well.

On March 6, Billboard took to Twitter to declare their ‘Most noteworthy Pop Star list’ from 1999-2000. Amazingly, BTS packed away the 2020 title as they were authoritatively named Billboard’s The Greatest Pop Star Of 2020. Throughout the long term, specialists who were regarded with the title. Including Adele, Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Eminem, Jeniffer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Lil Wayne, Madonna, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Kanye West, Lady Gaga and Usher.

BTS is the first boy band to be awarded with the title since NSYNC, back in 2000. Overall, It is the seventh duo/band to be named ‘Greatest Pop Star’ by Billboard. Joining other bands like Backstreet Boys, Boyz II Men, Bon Jovi, Nirvana, TLC, and NSYNC.
