Biden’s Intentions Clear After the Bombings in Syria

Airstrikes made Biden’s first major military move in Syria over a structure owned by Iranian-backed militias believed. To be responsible for recent attacks on US targets across the border in Iraq.

The U.S. military says it carried out strikes in retaliation for a rocket attack on Erbil Airport in northern Iraq. Killing a contractor working for the U.S.-led coalition fighting ISIS in Iraq and Syria and injuring a U.S. military serviceperson, among other casualties.

When he spoke of the strike, he said Iran should consider it a warning.
“You can’t act with impunity,” Biden said.
He warned Iran and other countries to “be careful” and revealed a message that his administration will always protect Americans first.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK group monitoring the war in Syria, said the attacks targeted a shipment of weapons from Iraq by truck to Syria, killing 22 fighters from the Popular Mobilization Forces, an Iraqi group of primarily Shiite paramilitaries, including Kataeb Hezbollah. Although the report could not be individually confirmed.

IMPACT ON US-IRAN NUCLEAR DEAL

This strike will make the diplomatic process more complex, as it gives more power to the Iranian side.  Opposing the deal and negotiations with the United States. But more importantly, Iran’s main problem is the $1 billion payment from South Korea at the moment.
