The Amazon prime original web series Carnival Row was among the hit shows on Amazon. The series was also nominated for Satellite Awards for best Genre series in 2020 and has a huge fan following around the world. Fans have been waiting for the 2nd season of the Carnival Row after the release of 1st season’s 8 episodes. the waiting seems to come to an end this year.
Carnival Row Season 2:
Carnival Row is an American neo-noir (dark movie) fantasy web series which was released on 30th August 2019. The series is written by Rene Echevarria and Travis Beachman. It’s an Amazon original series and was premiered on Amazon prime video. The first season consisted of 8 episodes of 50- 67 minutes each.
1st episode of season 2 was written by Erik Oleson and Travis Beachman. Followed by Marc Guggenheim with a teleplay by Erick Oleson. The 2nd till fifth episodes were written by Sarah Byrd, Wesley Strick, Dylan Gallagher, and Majeta Bozicevic, and Tania Lotia.
The series is staring Orlando Bloom as Rycroft Philostrate who’s an inspection in the series. Along with Cara Delevingne as Vignette Stonemoss, Simon McBurney as Runyon Millworthy, David Gyashi as Agreus Astrayon Tamzin Merchant as Imogen Spurnrose, Andrew Gower as Ezra Spurnrose, Karla Crome as Tourmaline Larou Jared Harris as Absalom Breakspear, Arty Froushan as Johan Breakspear, and Indira Varma as Piety Breakspear.
The series is produced by the Czech republic and the shooting was done at Barrandov Studio. The location of the shooting includes palaces like Liberec, The Chateaux – frydlant, Krnsko and Prachov rocks.
The production of the second season had begun in the year 2019 but due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the filming was stopped. This resulted in the delay for the film release. Initially, the film was said to get released in 2020. Season 2 of Carnival Row was in production which got completed in August 2020. The actual release date is not yet confirmed. The viewers can expect the release date as late 2021 or early 2022.
The series was amongst the top rank series which was tanked 7.9 on IMDB, 3/5 on common sense, and 56% on Rotten tomatoes. The story of the series is about the mythical creatures who ran away from their home town due to the war. This creates tension amongst the citizens and the new arrivals. There are some mysterious murders taking place followed by an investigation. The story of season 2 of Carnival Row is said to begin from where it ended in the last episode of season one.
