Justice League director Zack Snyder wants to see Ben Affleck as Batman in his upcoming movies. He confessed that his Batman series will definitely happen in Ben is up for it.
The Batman’s story is not yet revealed and not even its cast. We all know that Ben left the Batman role for his reasons. So is he returning as Brace Wayne again? Here’s the answer!
Why did Ben leave DC franchise?
We all somewhere know the reason behind this. If you don’t then have a look. Ben was too much pressurized due to his workload and personal matters.
He said in an interview with New York Times that he was struggling with alcohol issues and on the other side he had the divorce matter with his wife Jennifer Garner. It was difficult for him to maintain such a difficult shoot as his character.
He went to rehab and then came back battling all his problems. Thus Robert Pattinson took over the title role in The Batman after Ben left.
Finally Ben decided to be back
According to the sources, Ben is ready to return as Batman in the upcoming series. Zack Snyder wanted him to be a part of his upcoming movie Justice League. Zack was so happy that he didn’t take a moment to open up in media that Ben is back as Batman.
Justice League will be releasing soon. It was a little difficult for Ben to start all again after a time gap. Zack said in an interview with Vanity Fair, “I think he forgot how uncomfortable the bat-suit is. But that’s fine”.
However, Ben was willing to write and direct his own solo movie The Batman. Surprisingly Zack was supporting Ben in this and wanted Warner Bros to go with Ben’s solo movie idea. But it didn’t work.
Ben said,”I tried to direct a version of it and worked with a really good screenwriter, but just couldn’t come with a version of it. I couldn’t crack it. So I thought it was time to let someone else take a shot at. They have got some really good people”.
Not only Justice League, but Ben will also be seen in Matt Reeves’ upcoming movie “The Flash” most probably in 2022. Isn’t the return of the real Batman- Ben Affleck, surprising for fans?
