About the 6th season of Peaky Blinders
“Popular series Peaky Blinders will be made into a movie after the sixth and final season”, creator Steven Knight has teased.
Starring Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby, Peaky Blinders has resumed filming on its sixth season, with Knight confirming it will be the last season on TV. Fans don’t need to be frustrated, because the creator has revealed that “the story of Tommy, Arthur will come to a close in a Peaky Blinders movie.”
COVID change all their plans
He told Deadline, “Covid changed our plans. But I can say that my plan from the beginning was to end Peaky with a movie. That is what is going to happen.”
Knight had already confirmed that he want to close the season with 7th one but as we all know that COVID destroy all the plans of the television industry. That’s why they also not able to create and launched the last season.
Season 6 was also begun but as we heard that it was stopped due to pandemic issues. Details are still under wraps, although Knight has previously said that he was planting seeds in Season 5 to be picked up later on, one of which was “that fascism is afoot.”
As we know that knight said that he wants to wrap the season after the 6th but the fans also want that they create the final one in the form of film.
Anthony Byrne return in this season
According to a report, Knight, who is an Oscar-nominated screenwriter, had previously revealed that he had been ‘approached’ to take the crime drama to the big screen. In the 6th season, we will see Anthony Byrne as director. In this season he will also return.
Executive producer Caryn Mandabach told the publication that the final season is going to be the best one yet.
