911 Season 4 Episode 1: Release date, story and watch online details.
Last year in April 2020, Fox gave great news to its fans to renew it’s successful crime-drama show 9-1-1. The series is now going to get it’s fourth season. Fox announced the release date of season 4 episode 1. Let’s check out more details.
Release Date
9-1-1 season 4 episode 1 will get released on January 18, 2021, at 8 PM ET & 7 PM CT. The next episodes will follow up on every next week’s Monday. 9-1-1’s first-ever season premiered back in January 2018.
Story
As previously told 9-1-1 is a crime-drama show that focuses on the lives of emergency rescuers of Los Angeles. The series tells us many breathtaking fictional incidents of city police, paramedics, dispatchers, firefighters and other emergency responders.
9-1-1’s main characters are: Athena Nash(Angela Basett), Robert ‘Bobby’ Nash(Peter Krause), Evan ‘Buck’ Buckely(Oliver Stark), Henrietta Wilson(Aisha Hinds), Madeleine ‘Maddie’ Kendall(Jennifer Love Hewitt), Edmundo ‘Eddie’ Diaz(Ryan Guzman), Howard ‘Chimney Han(Kenneth Choi) and more.
On release 3 recap, Maddie and May were discussing which college to choose. Fans have seen Maddie and Chimney’s relationship grow closer. Buck finally moved on from Abby. In season 4 all of these stories are likely to go forward. Also some characters’ backstories might get revealed.
Season 4 will show more stories on emergencies, one of them is the 8.0 earthquake and coastal tsunami. The season 4 episode 1 title is ‘The New Abnormal’. Fox also gave a brief synopsis regarding the season 4.
The synopsis reads: “When the Hollywood Reservoir dam breaks and the 118 race into action to save passengers on a city bus, that has crashed into a building several stories in the air. Maddie must first locate and then rescue a trapped cyclist and Athena helps an agoraphobic woman evacuate her home.”
Here Nikki DeLoach will play the cameo role of trapped cyclist Janell.

Fox’s 9-1-1 season 4 episode 1 can be watched on Fox Channel itself. Also for digital version viewers can stream it on Fox Now App, and Fox’s official website. Hulu, DirecTV, FuboTV, Sling TV are also streaming the series’s 1st episode. If viewers subscribe to YouTube TV’s VOD service and for Amazon Prime viewers need to purchase the series.
