Cobra Kai
A Netflix martial art comedy-drama web series is a sequel to The Karate Kid which was written by Robert Mark Kamen in 1984. Cobra Kai is produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg. The first two seasons of Cobra Kai released on Youtube Red in 2018-2019. Later, Season 3 released on January 1, 2021. Earlier the seasons were streaming on Youtube Red but in June 2020, all the series were uploaded to the Netflix.
Susanne Daniels says ” It is a half an hour format but I would call it a dramedy. I think it leans into the tone of the movies in that there are dramatic moments throughout. I think it’s very faithful really in some ways to what the movie set about doing, the lessons imparted in the movie if you will. It’s next-generation Karate Kid.” – Youtube’s Global Head of content.
Besides this appreciation, the series got nominated for Teen Choice Awards, Prime Time Creativity Arts Emmy Awards. However, received Rotten Tomatoes for Best TV Drama Golden Tomato Award.
What about Season 4?
All three seasons are liked by the audience a lot. They all are wondering whether season 4 will come or not. Right after season 3 ends, everyone on social media was curious to know about Season 4. Will Season 4 be premiered or not?
Here’s a piece of good news for the fans of Cobra kai. Yes, season 4 is confirmed. According to the sources, the announcement of Season 4 was made before Season 3 was released. The shooting is expected to begin in January 2021 and expected to have ten episodes like the other three seasons.
In the interview with Cinema Blend Jon Hurwitz says, “In our writers’ room, we speak about literally every character that has appeared in the Miyagi-verse. So it’s obvious that we’ve spoken about Julie Pierce. As to whether or not she’ll return to the series, that’s something you’ll just have to wait to find out.” – The co-creator of the series.
So concluding everything, Season 4 is confirmed to premiere soon but the date and cast aren’t confirmed yet. The shooting may wrap up around April 2021.
