Earlier, when Daisuke Ashihara’s World Trigger Season 1 hit the screen, it became an instant hit among the anime lovers. The upcoming winter 2021 Season is also ready to have a grand opening as big as Season 1. World Trigger Plot
The major plotline of this anime is the cohabitation of monsters and humans. You will get to see humans and monsters as neighbors. Moreover, they are trying to protect their species from each other so that they don’t become extinct.
In this chaotic environment, a guy named Yuma Kuga Osamu Mikad is our hero. He’s an extraordinary kid with powers to fight as well as shoot bullets. Yuma is merely a human. However, he’s the next door neighbor to a monster which is why he tries his best to keep his identity hidden.
Season 2 will continue this plotline and it will reveal the Mimiko Group. It’ll be interesting to find out how the monsters and humans will react to the upcoming challenges.
World Trigger Season 2 Release Date
After the first episode of World Trigger Season 1 was released on October 5, 2014, the season continued to be aired for two years straight. In those two years, a total of 73 episodes were released.
The next season of this anime is all set to be released on January 9, 2021. This information is regarding the Japanese version of the anime. However, if you’re curious about the release of English Dubbed version, there has been no official announcement about that.
Nevertheless, one can expect Crunchyroll to stream the dubbed version just like they did with the World Trigger Season 1.
