Shia LaBeouf is reportedly accused by FKA Twigs for sexual assault. The lawsuit explanation comes with sexual battery to STD allegations. Here’s the details.
Twigs Accuse LaBeouf
American actor Shia LaBeouf was reportedly accused by ex-girlfriend singer FKA Twigs for sexually abusing her, giving her STD and sexual battery. The lawsuit has these allegations against LaBeouf.
The New York Times presented the information of the lawsuit. That claimed Tahliah Debrett Barnett aka FKA Twigs, 32, is abused by the 34 year Transformers’ actor, “physically, emotionally, and mentally many times in a relationship that lasted just short of a year.”
Shia’s attorney Shawn Holley responded soon after the allegations came into public attention. Holly told the Variety, that, “Shia needs help and he knows that.” She also added, ” We are actively seeking the kind of meaningful, intensive long-term inpatient treatment that he desperately needs.”
Now coming to the lawsuit allegations. FKA Twigs accused LaBeouf of ‘relentless abuse’, also sexual battery, physical harassment and emotional distress. She also accused him of ‘knowingly’ giving her a Sexually Transmitted Disease(STD).
In response to the lawsuit explanation, the American actor replied in an email to the New York Times, writing, “I’m not in any position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalization. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years….”
LaBeouf sent another email to the New York Times, saying, “many of the allegations are not true.” Though he fully supported and respected the decision of the women having ” the opportunity to air their statements publicly and accept accountability for those things I have done.”
In the lawsuit Twigs mentioned about Shia assaulting her on February 14, 2019. According to Twigs, Shia was “driving recklessly” and “threatened to crash unless she professed her love for him.”
As a result of all these allegations, Shia LaBeouf’s career may face trouble. He was recently replaced by Harry Styles in Olivia Wilde’s film Don’t Worry Darling. Though previously it was reasoned by ‘scheduling conflict’.
Shia was already arrested several times before on charges of sexual assault and disorderly conduct. His ex-girlfriend Karolyn Pho also accused him in the past for sexually assaulting her and attacking her. Shia is currently dating actress Margaret Qualley.
