Pandemic made everyone suffered from a celebrity to a normal person and everybody seek for different things to pass their time. Some learned new things and some just slack off during the whole lockdown.
This pandemic was hard for everyone but especially for musicians as they were shut in and they weren’t able to perform. When things improve little bit musicians started virtually performing their songs. It was a bit weird but who cares. When people were busy in slacking off and in doing virtual gigs there was someone busy in making albums and giving the best records of her career.
She is so talented and her music helped her in achieving the title of “Miss Americana”. Taylor Swift is one of the best artists and musician that this generation has ever seen. This American singer-songwriter is at her peak right now. In the starting months of lockdown when people were finding new ways to get rid of their boredom Lover singer stick to what she loves and normally does which is making an album which will make her feel proud and her fans happy.
When musicians were terrified of releasing any music let alone an album this talented singer-songwriter released an album in July titled “Folklore” and like always it was brilliant and hit charts in many different countries.
Grammy Nominations
Swift’s July released album topped the charts and gained her several nominations for 2021 Grammy Awards which includes many top categories like for the “Album of the year” (for folklore) and also for the “Song of the year” (for cardigan).
Musicians normally take a lot of time off after releasing an album but Look what you made me do singer didn’t wait and in less than a year Swift recently released her second record of the year which is her ninth full-length album overall.
Lead single from the album
The Grammy award winner made a sudden announcement about her album release and drops the full-length record last Friday. Me! singer also released the lead single of the album called “Willow” along with the music video. The music video showed the graceful, beautiful and aesthetic Taylor Swift.
Finally time for the new album
The Blank Space singer announced her new album name “Evermore” and album cover through an Instagram post. In her post, the American Music award winner said,” I’m elated to tell you that my 9th studio album, and folklore’s sister record; will be out tonight at midnight eastern. It’s called evermore.”
The Back to December singer then continued and gave her reason for releasing all this music so suddenly as Swift added,” To put it plainly, we just couldn’t stop writing songs. To try and put it more poetically, it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music.
We chose to wander deeper in. I’ve never done this before. In the past, I’ve always treated albums as one-off eras and moved onto planning the next one after an album was released.”
“There was something different with folklore. In making it, I felt less like I was departing and more like I was returning. I love the escapism I found in these imaginary/not imaginary tales. I loved the ways you welcomed the dreamscapes ad tragedies and epic tales of love lost and found into your lives.
So I just kept writing them. And I loved creating these songs with Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff, WB and Justin Vernon. We’ve also welcomed some news (and long time) friends to our musical kitchen table this time around”, Love Story singer added.
All the tracks
According to American Singer this new album “Evermore” is a sister of her previous July released album. Cardigan singer also disclosed all the names of the song in her new album. There is a total of 15 beautiful and melodious songs in the album which also includes two bonus tracks that are “right where you left me“and “it’s time to go”.
The 31 years old singer told her fans how much they are important to her as she thanked them for being so caring, supportive and thoughtful and how much music means to her through her social media account.
“I have no idea what will come next. I have no idea about a lot of things these days and so I’ve clung to the one thing that keeps me connected to you all. That thing always has and always will be music. And may it continue, evermore. My new album evermore is out now”, Swift said through her social media after her album release.
