The silent launch of a new and upgraded Audi A4 is set to release soon to keep up with competitors. The face-lifted A4 claims to maintain competition with rivals and maintain Audi’s family theme. Upgrades narrow down to its design and an added mild-hybrid powertrain. Makers decide on calling the luxury sedan A4 Quick Lift.
New Features
The upgraded A4 has a sharper, tightened look to it with the broader grille design. Another notable change is its headlights, seemingly inspired by the A1 hatchback units. Right from the base variant, Audi will offer LED units. Even the front and the rear bumper have a cleaner look to it. Overall, the design is flattened giving the A4 a dynamic and sporty look!
Among the ‘S’ variants, the A4 comes with 19-inch wheels while the other variants get 17 or 18-inch wheels. In addition to these features, the cabin also sees an upgrade. Audi’s MMI infotainment system is equipped into the cabin, featuring a 10.1-inch touchscreen. Other additions include a head-up display and a 12.3-inch digital driver-information display. There is also an update on voice control, to recognise common phrases.
Further, the base variants will have electric-folding mirrors along with multi-function steering. In contrast to the base variants, the higher models get auto-folding mirrors and multiple driver-assistance systems.
Engine
In Europe, the engine is available with 6 options. Among these, three of them features a 12V mild-hybrid system. The power of the vehicle ranges from 147bhp to 240bhp along with two diesel offers: a 2.0-litre unit that belts out 188 bhp and a 3.0-litre mill with 340 bhp.
Price and Release in India
The starting price of the newly upgraded design is at Rs 41.49 lakh. For the higher-end variants, prices go up to Rs 45.55 lakh. The Audi A4 Quick Lift will release by 2021.
